So, wanna know something that probably seems more interesting in my head than it does on paper? Well here it is:
I was recently in a debating competition with a close friend of mine at our school (came 3rd overall...boo-yah!), and the topic was BIRT* It Is Wrong To Sell Artifacts/Articles From the Titanic. I got that in an email from my debate coach, and was like, "Whoa, what? They're selling stuff from the Titanic!?!?!?" Well, they is the RMS Titanic Unit of Premier Exhibitions, not to mention that they also encompasses Guernsey's auctioneers. At risk of sounding unfeeling and unsentimental (trust me, I'm not), I'm strictly con on this argument. While some would liken the retrieval and sale of items from the Titanic to grave robbing, the artifacts are, as sad as it may be, no longer of use to their original owners, and what would the use be of letting them rot at the bottom of the ocean/sea/whatever it is? Let me know what you think in a comment, I'd be interested to hear other people's opinions.
Anyway. So that was the debate.
And I'm going to apologize to you all right now, cherished readers. Because this is a ridiculously short post. I am going to include a video of a very cute animal doing something funny now because we all know that makes everything better!!!! :)

*For all you non-debaters, BIRT stands for Be It Resolved That, and it's how you start a debating topic. In case the terms pro and con were lost on you as well, the pro side supports the resolution and the con side opposes it.
